Summer Enrichment

EVHS DOES NOT ENDORSE OR RECOMMEND ANY SPECIFIC SUMMER ENRICHMENT COURSES.

ONLY COURSES TAKEN AT WASC-ACCREDITED SCHOOLS MAY APPLY TO YOUR TRANSCRIPT.

Please be aware: We only place courses and grades received from those courses in our transcript if it is needed for credit recovery or to fulfill ESUHSD graduation requirements that were unable to be fulfilled during the regular school year. In these cases, the official transcript (sealed and unopened) is ordered and brought or mailed to the counselor for inclusion in the transcript.

If a student successfully completes a summer course offered by an institution that is WASC-accredited, the course can be used by EVHS for advancement/placement. AN Example of a WASC-accredited institutions is Archbishop Mitty. Grades earned from these courses/institutions will not be placed on our EVHS transcript. Instead, you will need to report the grades you earned from these institutions directly to the colleges/universities you apply to.

If a student successfully completes a summer course offered by an institution that is not WASC-accredited, or is WASC accredited as 'supplementary education,' the course can be used by EVHS for advancement/placement, however, we are unable to guarantee how a college or university will evaluate these courses. Examples of courses like these include those offered by Jose Valdez or Russian School of Math. Grades earned from these courses/institutions will not be placed on our EVHS transcript.

Please be sure you turn in your transcript to your EVHS counselor once you complete any courses.
