At Evergreen Valley, our staff and students work together to build a more equitable campus community. Every student at EVHS is welcomed as they are, and we strive to ensure that ALL students know they belong and can be successful at our school. At EVHS, we ROAR!
Evergreen Valley High School first opened our doors to students in 2002 and the first senior class graduated in 2005. Since then, EV graduates have advanced to a variety of colleges, universities, and careers. Every day, thousands of Evergreen Valley High School alumni are making a difference in their communities.
Our campus is known for its vibrant school culture, strong academic program, and spirited student life. Students are encouraged to be socially responsible - striving to always make choices that positively impact themselves, their friends, and their community. Evergreen Valley has an incredible faculty and a rigorous academic program tailored to meet the individual needs of every student. College Prep and Advanced Placement courses are open to all students and every student is encouraged to challenge themselves with rigorous coursework.
Key Programs
Leadership
Leadership class is a G approved elective that offers students the opportunity to take roles on campus that place them in adult environments. These students organize all extra-curricular school activities and events.
Robotics
Robotics: The EVHS Robotics club offers students the opportunity to apply their knowledge. The club builds a robot each year and competes against other high schools in various challenges.
College Preparation
College Preparation: EVHS offers 19 AP Courses for college credit, a mid level college program and 30 courses at the Silicon Valley Career and Technical Education Center.
Comp Sci Academy
Computer Science Academy is an interdisciplinary approach to learning in which a cohort of students take a sequence of Career Technical Education courses that integrate academic classes with the Information and Communication Technologies industry. This pathway provides experiential learning opportunities beyond the classroom that prepare for careers related to computer science that involve the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and management of systems such as: Computer Programmer, Software Developer/Applications, Information Security Analyst, Web Developer and E-Business/E-Commerce Specialist.
Athletics
Athletics: Sports include football, track, volleyball, water polo, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, soccer, badminton, tennis, cross country and golf. EVHS has won more than 50 Division Titles and 10 CCS Championships.
Activities
Activities: EVHS is proud of it extra curricular activities including Band, Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Guitar, Choir, Drama, Visual Arts, Speech & Debate and over 100 clubs that specialize in student and community involvement.
