FAQs
My student plays piano, where can they join? There is no guaranteed piano parts, HOWEVER, piano players make great musicians for secondary instruments. They are more than welcome to join on a second instrument in either band or orchestra and when piano parts come around, they can be given them!
Why the prerequisites? These classes are a continuation from the middle school programs. We are working from where they left off at the 8th grade level.
Do you have school instruments? We do not have the largest inventory, but we will work to make sure every student has an instrument.
What classes can freshmen join? Freshmen are placed in ADV Band 1 which will continue the work that they had in middle school. Freshmen are welcome in orchestra as it is a grade 9-12 class!
