The FAFSA and CA Dream Act Applications are NOW OPEN!

Join us for the Cash for College Workshop, designed to assist both students and parents in completing the FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application. This workshop is tailored for seniors and their parents and will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It is a FREE event featuring financial aid experts who will provide valuable information and support for navigating the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the CA Dream Act for eligible AB 540 students, and Chafee Grant applications for foster youth.

Participants will receive step-by-step guidance in English, Spanish, or Vietnamese. Don’t miss this opportunity to access the grants and scholarships available to help finance your student's college and career aspirations!

In order to successfully complete your application please bring the following information:

An FSA ID (account username and password) to log in to StudentAid.gov and start the FAFSA form electronically

• Your Social Security Number (if you have one)

• Your A-Number (if you're not a U.S. citizen)

• 2023 Federal income tax returns; records of child support received; and your current balance of cash, savings, and checking accounts (Note: You must provide consent and approval to disclose your federal tax information to be eligible for federal student aid.)

• Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)

• Records of net worth of investments, businesses, and farms (if applicable)

• Records of untaxed income (if applicable)

• The state financial aid application deadline is March 2nd!
